Courtney was born in Detroit, MI, and raised in the Twin Cities area. She met and married her husband in St Paul, MN. They have two adult sons and four grandchildren. She enjoys photography, crafting, and taking the grandchildren boating on any of the beautiful lakes in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Courtney has chaired her city’s youth and high school football booster program for many years and spends many fall afternoons on the sidelines with a camera in her hand. Capturing memories for various sports websites and social media is one of her most fulfilling pastimes.
